Rafael Giménez-Amaya (Madrid, 1968) is married with 3 daughters. He has worked extensively in the area of marketing, communication and event ,anagement between 1993-2007 in large multinational companies such as Doctor Music (1993), Hard Rock Cafe International (1994-1998), The Coca-Cola Company (1998-2001) and Diageo (2001-2007).
After seven years as the head of events and relationship marketing at Diageo, he joined Sold Out as a partner director in January 2008. Sold Out is not a typical music promoter. Over the years, Sold Out has led a very wide variety of entertainment products and projects in Spain and abroad, from bringing Cirque du Soleil to Spain (1998-2002) to staging 180 arena shows in Europe as executive producers of the live show Violetta Live from the Disney TV series of the same name (2013-2015). The company has also recently broken all records in Spain for Harry Potter The Exhibition (2017-2018) which attracted more than 400,000 visitors in Madrid (2017-2018).
